How to Get Your New Website Indexed by Search Engines… In Under a Day!

This is a common complaint from people eager to show the world their new creation… If you’ve designed sites before, i’m sure you’ll recognise the Google ‘Submit URL’ page:. Our first bit of advice is… leave it alone!! Using the method described below you can fast-track the site indexing process to just days, sometimes just hours!

If you’ve used it before, you’ll know that Google takes anything from 3 weeks to 2 months to get round to crawling your new website, which is a pretty agonising wait if you’re keen to generate more traffic.

Well you needn’t wait that long… in fact just to prove this technique works I tested it on a new website and was crawled by Google in under 1 day!!

The idea is very straighforward. There are multitudes of sites out there that are indexed daily due to them having high-quality content and that all important Google PR ranking. The key is to get a link to your site on them! Think about it… Google’s spiders crawl through sites, jumping from link to link to find new content, so if they discover a new link to your site they’ll know it exists faster!

Let’s look at a few techniques.. and you don’t even have to look beyond your means when it comes to Google Page Rank. When it came to our example site… I placed a link on 1 x Google Page Rank 4 site, 2 x Google Page Rank 3 sites and 4 x PR2 websites and was crawled and indexed in under 10 hours! Admittedly i’m lucky enough to own these sites, so getting backlinks was easy, but you understand the process.

To find High Ranking PR sites I use and recommend downloading the Google Toolbar which can be found here.

Some simple techniques to achieve high PR links for free would be to find a list of free link exchanges (ideally with a PR rating over 2), the simple process of emailing backlink requests and posting on internet forums including your link to your website in your signature.

Utilising these techniques alone should be enough to speed up your inclusion into Google’s index. Alternatively you can spend some money and pay for a link on a high PR web directory (anything up to £40/$70 for a month) which will get you listed quickly (you can cancel your membership once listed) but i’m trying to save some money for you!

It’s as simple as that… get as many high PR backlinks to your site and the search engines will index you in no time! The Next step is SEO Optimisation
